We easily found a suitable picnic clearing and built a small fire of dry twigs and cones . Speakingin a low voice so as not to disturb the invisible forest dwellers , weare comfortably settled around bubbling over sheaves of sparks , fire,and enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the day .
