Crystal is a natural material used by people because of its looks. Each crystal is unique because nature cant make two identical things. Actually, word crystal comes from Ancient Greek word krustallos, which means "ice" and "rock crystal". If you take a close look to any of the crystals you can easily see the similarities between crystals growing in a cave and a peace of ice. Even though they form in different environment they both are very beautiful.You can see through some of the crystals, but not all them are like that. In my opinion, clear crystals are the most interesting ones. There is somehow a magical feel in them, a strange aura around them. I think that this is the main reason people started using them for living purposes and qualify it as a wonder in their minds.
