  The educational system in Kazakhstan isconducted in two languages - Kazakh and Russian and consists of several levels.It is primary, secondary and high schools, colleges and academies. Childrenstart school at the age of seven and finish at 17. As a rule, a child attends theschool, located in the neighborhood. There is a training plan and compulsoryschool uniform. The student learns over 11-12 years.
